Originally from a small rural town in Cuba, Dr. Boffil learned early that compassion and service go hand in hand. At age nine, she and her family moved to Miami, where her dream of helping others through dentistry began to take shape.
She earned her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from Florida International University (FIU), where she served as Vice President of the Pre-Dental Society, sparking her love for leadership and mentorship. Dr. Boffil attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and graduated magna cum laude, receiving multiple honors including the Student Leadership and Distinguished Service Award and the Highest Achievement in Cosmetic Dentistry Award.
During her final year, Dr. Boffil was one of only six students selected to practice in the Community Oriented Dental Education (CODE) externship, providing care to underserved and medically complex patients — an experience that deeply shaped her philosophy of compassionate, comprehensive dentistry.
After returning home to Florida, Dr. Boffil continued expanding her skills and artistry. She is an active member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, International Dental Implant Association, and the International Team for Implantology. With over 500 hours of advanced training—including courses such as Dr. Garg’s Implant Dentistry Continuum and Aesthetic Advantage with Dr. Apa in New York City—she stays at the forefront of modern, aesthetic, and implant dentistry.
When she’s not designing smiles, Dr. Boffil enjoys spending time with her husband, their Maltese-Yorkie pup, and their spirited one-year-old daughter, Alanna — the heartbeat of their world. Soft Hands Dental was built with love and purpose. Our mission is to create a practice built on warmth, trust, and gentle care – that is our heartfelt approach to dentistry. At the core of Dr. Boffil’s mission is a simple truth: beautiful smiles begin with genuine care — and at Soft Hands Dental, every patient is treated like family.
